How their life points to Christ

God's name never appears in Esther — yet his providence is on every page. The hidden God who preserved his people through Esther is the same God who, in the fullness of time, sent his Son to rescue them in person.

Common misunderstandings

  • Esther's bravery did not earn the deliverance — God was sovereignly arranging events long before her courage.
